1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect

• Order data — your name, email address, chosen language and the products you ordered.
• Payment reference — the payment amount, currency, reference/order number and the payment channel used. Card and bank details are collected and processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, the merchant of record; we never receive or store your full card number, bank login or payment password.
• Marketing consent — whether you opted in to receive our free recipe newsletter, including the time and source of that consent.
• Technical data — IP address, user agent and order timestamps, used to prevent fraud and to protect the download area.
• Correspondence — the content of emails you send to our support address.

3. Why we process your data (legal basis)

• Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) — to create your order, take payment, deliver the files you bought and provide support and refunds.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — to send you the recipe newsletter. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — to keep the site secure, detect fraudulent or abusive orders and improve our content.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — to keep accounting and tax records where required.

4. Who we share data with

We never sell your personal data. We only share it with processors that make this service possible:

• Payment and collection service providers — to receive your payment and issue refunds.
• Email delivery provider — to send your order confirmation, download link and, if you opted in, the newsletter.
• Hosting and storage provider — to run this website and store order records.

Each processor only receives the data required for its task and is contractually bound to protect it.

5. International transfers

Our service is operated from China. If you live outside that country, your data will be transferred and processed there. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access restrictions, to keep your data protected wherever it is processed.

6. How long we keep your data

• Order and accounting records — kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law, generally several years.
• Download access — kept while your order remains active so you can re-download your files at any time.
• Newsletter data — kept until you unsubscribe, after which your address is moved to a suppression list so we do not contact you again.
• Support messages — kept for up to 24 months after the matter is closed.

7. Your rights

You may at any time ask us to exercise the following rights, free of charge unless a request is manifestly excessive:

• Access — get a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Erasure — have your data deleted where we have no continuing legal ground to keep it.

8. Cookies and local storage

We keep the site functional with a minimum amount of storage in your browser: a preference cookie for your chosen language and currency, and your shopping cart. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Download links are personalised with your order number so they cannot be shared publicly. Access to stored order data is restricted to authorised administrators, and administrative actions such as marking an order as paid are recorded.

10. Children

Our products are aimed at adults who cook. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has placed an order, contact us and we will delete the related data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our service or the law changes. The current version always appears on this page with its effective date. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
